My first business was landscaping. Early mornings, hard ground, and a truck that barely turned over in January.

Nobody in my family had ever been shown how money actually works. Not the bank. Not school. Not anyone. We never lacked effort. We lacked information.

The day somebody finally sat me down and explained it, I wasn't excited. I was angry. All of it had been sitting there the whole time, and nobody had said a word.

So I learned it. Then I got good at it. Then I started teaching it — and that's the part that stuck.
